Our Mission
The Mentorship Program offers free services to non-profits in the New York Metro area. Our mission is to simply serve those who are in need. The Mentorship Program is a volunteer organization that provides service to non-profits through education, social activities and mentorship. In the last 15 years, we have supported communities through innovation and ambition whether it be full based programs such as teenage afterschool programs or adult career technology trainings.
We are devoted to supporting community organizations in the New York Metro Area by organizing individualized programs specific to their population. This enables us to actively engage the community and leverage resources collectively to maximize service and not replicate or waste potential resources.
Hallmark Events
Programs and events that The Mentorship Program creates are fun, silly, engaging and useful to help motivate participants to take action in their lives that will move them forward. Workshops can range from pampering events that focus on inner beauty, career workshops that focus on relationship dynamics to fitness and wellness workshops which cover mental and physical health. Each workshop is personalized for the organization that is being sponsored. Past programs are below and are not indicative of the vast programming that The Mentorship Program hosts.
Career Day
This annual workshop is a chance for participants to meet with professionals in the field and career of their desire. Volunteers also provide career counseling and free resources including free tuition for each participant to actively engage in the pursuit of the profession of their choice.
Spa Night
This annual program held in January is focused on setting a positive and glamorous year by pampering participants during engaging discussions about inner and outer beauty.
Girls Night Out
Sometimes the best gift is presence! During girls night, volunteers spend time with participants playing games, talking about pop cultuer and watching movies.
