Free Business Resources

Finding reliable and free resources can be tricky, but luckily, I found them for you. Here are two underrated and often underutilized resources that will help you out.

Your Library – I am the biggest library groupie. Yes, that is a thing! If I could have my own section at my local Library, I would, but they will not let me. The library is FREE. It's one of the best membership clubs for business owners. Instead of a credit card, you need a library card which is also free. The library is an excellent resource for getting a lot of valuable resources for free; you can borrow books ranging from cooking to aerodynamics. You can access expensive research databases that offer information on your consumers and industry. In addition, most Libraries offer free classes from "podcasting" to "business basics." Some even contain business centers.

The SBA Website – In full disclosure, the SBA website is a little antiquated. SBA, if you are reading this - call me so we can remedy that. However, their information and webinars are top-notch. The Small Business Association has a free online learning center with webinars ranging from "how to buy a business" to "how to start a business." Plus, they offer assistance on getting free help in your own neighborhood and how to get funding. Any entrepreneur, regardless of experience, can benefit from perusing the SBA Website.
