KARLEEN LEVEILLE TO MODERATE HIGH-PROFILE EVENT AT GOALS HOUSE DURING UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Date: September 21, 2024

New York, NY — Acclaimed media personality and business consultant Karleen Leveille will be moderating an exclusive breakfast event co-hosted by Google.Org and Choose Love at Goals House, as part of the 2024 UN General Assembly (UNGA) week-long activation. The invitation-only event, scheduled for Tuesday, September 24th at 8 am, will be held at the iconic Tavern on the Green in Central Park.

With a gathering of prominent leaders from the private sector, philanthropy, and non-profits, including representatives from MasterCard, ServiceNow, Monday.com, and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Emi Mahmoud, the event will focus on critical partnerships aimed at supporting refugees and immigrants, aligning with the broader mission of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Leveille’s role as moderator brings her personal and professional experience to the forefront of the discussion, curating a dialogue that emphasizes the vital importance of collaborative efforts in fostering safe and supportive pathways for refugees. As the daughter of Haitian immigrants, her connection to this cause is deeply rooted in her own journey, highlighting the significant role of community and partnerships in achieving success and safety for those in need.

“I’m excited to curate a conversation on partnerships, especially in building the foundation to support refugees and immigrants in gaining safe entrance into the nation. As a child of Haitian immigrants, I recognize that without the support of others, their journey and even my existence would not have been possible, and I want to make sure that others have the same chances and opportunities as they did,” Leveille said.

The event is part of a broader series hosted by Goals House, an internationally recognized community of activists, political figures, business leaders, and entrepreneurs united in their mission to drive progress toward achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
